Katniss & the Tissue
Zachary Giguere Grade 6
Katniss has an hour to get a tissue
soft as a flower.
The purple box is guarded an ox near the pond
owned by St. Malan.
The tissue is plain and boring, just like
loud Gary snoring.
Katniss is half way there when she gets stopped
by a big black bear.
The bear breaks her silver bow and now she doesn't know
how this is going to work.
She sees it 30 yards away and sprints to save
the day.
She slides under the ox and grabs the box!
She is all dirty, mud in her hair and sand on
her pants!
But she is done and she has won and now
she's on her way!
By the Pond

The water ripples in the breeze
Low, slow sounds of the xylophone
carry across the water
as the katniss plant sways to sleep.
